Blinkit

Quick commerce

India's quick-commerce pioneer, delivering groceries in minutes from a network of dark stores.

Blinkit started in 2013 as Grofers, an online grocery company, before relaunching under the Blinkit name with a promise of delivery in about ten minutes.

History

The model runs on a dense network of small neighbourhood warehouses — dark stores — with tight inventory and routing. After years of iteration it became a defining name in Indian quick commerce and was acquired by Zomato in 2022.

Today

Blinkit delivers groceries and everyday essentials in minutes across major Indian cities.
